Lots To Do

I went to wake D up this morning and he was all sorts of snuggely. After laying in his bed a while he proclaimed "Lets get going! I've got lots to do today!"....

Opening Day

We rung in Brewers opening day this year with D's first trip to the movies, The Lorax...popcorn and all. He did so well. That little man of mine....(we did watch the game later on too !)

NSB Vacation

Our little fish.

Jumping in the pool for the 2934932874 time. :)

Love. My. Boys.

Best moment ever. I will never forget his pure joy.

Where dreams really do come true....
We are fresh off our trip to Florida with my family. It was such a needed vacation and we soaked up every moment of it. The weather was beautiful, the house was amazing and the unplugged time away was perfection.

We stayed in a house in New Smyrna Beach, FL with my family, GG, Uncle Paul, Cindy, Grant and Maddie. Most days were spent playing in the pool and lounging in the sun. Dawson turned into quite the little swimmer on this trip. There were a few moments that made Mom's heart drop, but he squealed with delight each leap he took into the pool. Thank God for water wings! Who knows how much water that boy drank from the pool!

Dawson was in heaven with all the modes of transportation he took in: Bus, Plane, Trolley, Fairy, Train, Boat, Monorail....he was such a rock star through it all.

On the last day we made it to Disney World. I wasn't sure how D would react, so all expectations were out the window. Even though it was very warm, crowded and his patience was greatly tested waiting in line, he did so well. We went on the merry go round, Dumbo, small world and train ride. On our way to Mickey Mouse D passed out from exhaustion. After a little coaxing from my Mom and Daryn to wake the sleeping babe, we did and boy am I glad we decided to.

You see, Dawson has a slight obsession with Mickey Mouse. From the clothes, to the cups, stuffed animals, chair, etc....he loves him so. His reaction was priceless and one that I will never forget. It made the entire trip worth it. That little beaner sure can make my heart skip a beat.

Despite still being in sleep recovery mode, Dawson asks for Mickey Mouse on the daily. "First we have breakfast then we go to Disney World and see Mickey Mouse, Mommy?"...

Success. :)
