I hooked our video camera up to the tv tonight and was watching old clips of Dawson. Watching him coo and kick his feet on a blanket on the floor felt like years and years ago. It seemed like we were trying to survive but yet wanting to soak up the moment. I was so excited for Dawson to be able to walk and talk and now it's here. Watching those days on the camera play back like a dream almost...
Our little man has been such a trooper. With mom not up to her best lately, he's been spending lots of time with Grandma & Grandpa, Nana & Papa. I'll be the first to say, he's not skipped a beat...or minded in the slightest. He's loved the revolving door with the ebb and flow of new faces. I am willing to bet he thinks this party is for him...and I think we'll keep him thinking that. ;)
